Before reading a Saju chart

An introduction to traditional interpretation, birth time, and calculation conventions.

A traditional perspective

Saju is a traditional system of classification and interpretation. It can prompt reflection, but is not presented as a scientifically validated personality assessment or prediction.

Time needs a reference

Birth country and display language are independent. Historical time zones, daylight saving, solar-term boundaries, and day-change conventions may affect a chart. An unknown birth time must not be replaced with a made-up time.

No relationship verdicts

Comparisons focus on differences and ways to communicate without limiting the relationship to a particular type. Interpretations do not assert death, illness, or investment success. See the tool’s calculation guide for chart conventions and limits around time-zone and solar-term boundaries.
